Orange UK has confirmed an earlier report (
here), which hinted that the operator was preparing to launch a free laptop and
Mobile Broadband service bundle. The operator plans to introduce its package next month, which will include an Asus Eee PC900 16GB sub-notebook (super small laptop) with USB Modem on their '
Internet Everywhere' tariff.
The service, which is based off a 3GB monthly data allowance and lengthy 24-month contract, will cost £25 per month to buy. By comparison, a similar offer from Three (3) would set you back £30 per month and include a 5GB data allowance.
Happily business customers will be offered a wider choice of higher specced HP laptops and receive "
unlimited" data and 500
Wi-Fi minutes. Pricing for these options is expected to start at £35 per month and reach £45 for those with the highest spec laptops (HP 6730b).
