Customers of the Kingston Communications (KCom Group) owned ISP Karoo, which operates almost exclusively in the Hull area outside of BT's coverage, were left without broadband connections for much of yesterday.
Thankfully the service was finally restored at just after 6pm last night, although the 75,000 broadband subscribers strong ISP has still not explained what caused the outage:
23-01-2008 18:22:01 - The engineering work required to restore service has been completed and customers can now successfully (re-)connect. Monitoring will continue throughout the evening. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
