Customers of
ICUK have been unable to access their email, websites and some dedicated servers for up to two days after the provider suffered a serious "
power issue" across its entire data centre.
Experiences appeared to vary, with some being able to access their emails again today and others not, although ICUK's website returned moments ago with the following update:

A serious and prolonged power issue affecting the whole data center resulted in loss of power for all of our web, email, spam and some dedicated servers. Engineers worked tirelessly into the night to address the issue as quickly as we could. Phone and email support was extended throughout this period.
Please accept our apologies for this unacceptable outage.
The service status page is currently showing RED across most of the ISPs services and some of the reports we've had from readers (
here) appear to suggest that things are still far from being back to normal.
