Tiscali UK's general manager for access and voice services, Steve Horley, has today spoken to ISPr regarding the reason for being unable to join in direct support of the new 'Migration Code of Practice' its BT's fault.
"Tiscali is fully in support of the migration code of practice, but unfortunately we were unable to sign up to it at this stage as it cannot be applied to the majority of our broadband customers as BT does not provide a migration process for DataStream.
Migration to and from DataStream is a key issue we have been lobbying for over the last year. We couldn't sign up to a code that we could not deliver on for all of our customers."
