MSN's study into gender differences and Internet search patterns has revealed that a third of men hunt for information about themselves online, while just one in five women would do the same:
Only 20 per cent of men are dissatisfied with their searching abilities.
It used to be mates down the pub - but now men turn to a search engine to seek advice in favour of their partners. Almost half of men turn to a search engine first, compared to just 26 per cent that seek out their partner's help. Women still see the family as the best sounding board.
One in eight men say they turn to the net to research a potential date and one in 12 look up their exes to see what they've been up to since a split. But only four per cent of women say they search for a future or past partner's secrets.Make of that what you will ;). More @
