The problems related to Affinity Internet Holdings (AIH) have continued today, this time with the award winning UK ISP
Firenet becoming less than pleased with the groups handling of their service change:
It had come to our attention tonight after successfully migrating hundreds of customers in the last 2 days away from affinity internet. And expecting that affinity would honour all our customers requests to cancel.
But this afternoon Alan Castle the Ceo recieved an email with all the cancellations sent back in one email stating "Thought you might need these"
This short but frank email from Mr Paul Hesketh the New owner of affinity in administration, seems he doesnt want to process your cancellations.
We are contacting trading standards with regards to affinity unwilling to let our customers cancel even though you are within your right to cancel with 30 days notice.
We are now suggesting that All customers that have migrated away from Affinity services to Firenet in-house that they call 0870 0109105 to cancel. We had tried to deliver the cancellation forms our customers made to info@aih.co.uk which our customers are contracted to send a cancel request but they are not answering these emails.
Once again we apologise to our new customers for more hassle but i hope we can resolve these problems once and for all.Firenet arent alone, as weve seen over the past few days, other ISPs are also having problems with Affinity.
