Netsystem, a UK broadband satellite ISP, has apparently started running a new service trial for heavy Internet users.
Dan, the Administrator from the
Netsystem Users consumer support and official reseller of Netsystem products site, states that:
Netsystem (broadband satellite providers) are running a trial of a new service which anyone can take part in for free as long as they have the required equipment (a DVB card and satellite dish pointed at Astra 19.2 degrees East). The trial speed is officially 640Kbps, yet due to light usage many have been getting up to 2Mbps. We note that you don't have to be an existing subscriber to take part.
The trial will be continuing for at least one more week and anyone interested should email
dac@netsystemusers.com (official resellers in charge of the trial service) with their forename, surname, DVB card MAC address and an email address.
