Freeserve has teamed up with Playlouder to broadcast live content (video, sound etc.) from this years Glastonbury Festival over the Internet:
The 85,000 tickets made available through EMAP's aloud.com online ticketing service sold out within 24 hours, but Playlouder will provide the next best thing - live webcasts of the festival as it happens.
Playlouder, an alternative music website, will manage the filming and streaming of the event in conjunction with Freeserve, which it it selected as the festival's official online partner.
The streaming service will begin in early June, when users can access highlights of Glastonbury 2002. This years' festival kicks off on 27 June, when users will be able to watch webcasts of up to four live performances per day, highlights, interviews and news. The service will run throughout July, providing highlights of Glastonbury 2003.More @
