We've heard this before, yet a new survey conducted by ISP AOL UK has found that 37% of broadband users questioned had some form of home networking setup. A further 21% were expecting to install one within the next 12 months:
In addition, 14% of respondents currently using dial-up services said they would be likely to purchase a home network solution if they switched to broadband.
The AOL survey carried out by NOP World also revealed the increasing popularity of online gaming and multi media downloads, especially music.Clearly broadband can be linked with the increased uptake of home networking (LAN - local area network) kit.
