Future Publishing has today announced the launch of their new online consumer magazine -
BroadbandNow. The downloadable mag will feature film news, games and other online entertainment information with a broadband focus:
Presented as a PDF costing 99p through BT click&buy's micropayment system, BroadbandNow will have six issues between May and the end of 2004 and also offer an animated 'Editor's intro', movie trailers and games.
Editor Vicki Atkinson said: "With substantial Government backing and BT's aim to roll out broadband to more than 99.5% of UK households by 2005, this is an ideal time to be targeting this new breed of tech-savvy mainstream consumers."It's an interesting idea and gets around the expensive procedure of printing out a glossy mag (yep, that's your job now).

Still, unless you've got a colour laser printer, it's probably best to read it via a monitor (ink costs etc.). More @
