UK broadband satellite ISP Micronet has confirmed that the move to Eutelsat's new W3A satellite will not affect service and you do not have to move your dish:
In reaction to the news of Eutelsat moving satellites at W3 7E, some users are misunderstanding that this may be affecting their service and have got the wrong impression that they have to repoint their dish to 45E.
All that is happening is that Eutelsat are replacing the satellite at W3 7E with a new one and sending the old one to 45E, so there is no changes really going on apart from the old W3 satellite going to 45E and a new new satellite replacing it at 7E. We are told this should bring an improved service to our users who currently use the W3 7E satellite and involve no service disruptions.
