BTO Offers Free Business ADSL Set-up

UK ISP BTOpenworld has today announced a new broadband ADSL promotion for businesses. Essentially, SMEs signing up for their business Plug & Go products (until 18th December) can make savings of up to £199 on set-up costs:

BT Openworld is offering SMEs (small and medium enterprises) substantial savings on its business broadband Plug & Go products, until December 18. Companies signing up from today for Business broadband access, and the recently launched small office networking products, stand to save up to £199 on set-up costs.
When ordered online, set-up for the Business PLUS Plug & Go Intelligent Gateway product, designed to network small offices without any technical intervention, is available free of charge. Typically, this would cost £199*. The access only Business 500 Plug and Go product, usually costing £150, is also available with free set-up when ordered via http://www.btopenworld.com/broadband .
When purchased through BT Openworld's telesales team, the products are also available at a substantially reduced rate. A £50 equipment charge is payable for both, but activation remains free - meaning a saving of £100 for the access product (Business 500 Plug & Go), and £149 for the intelligent networking product (Business PLUS Plug & Go).
"SMEs need to take advantage of high-speed internet access as much as any business trading today," said Jerry Thompson, director, Business Broadband at BT Openworld. "By reducing set-up costs we've removed one of the perceived barriers to broadband adoption, meaning all SMEs can get online and start to level the playing field with their larger counterparts.
