ActiveWare Re-Enables Usage Monitor

Posted: 04th Nov, 2003 By: MarkJ
UK ISP ActiveWare has today re-enabled its Internet access usage monitoring service. The system had been down for several months due to "urgent maintenance". Itemised billing, service abuse restrictions and a new website are also mentioned:

ActiveWare Service Update

ActiveWare are pleased to announce that our 'usage monitor' system is now back online after a downtime of a few months for urgent maintenance. Customers should now be able to log into their ActiveWare accounts through the website and now view their usage on the Usage Monitor.

Customers should though be aware that our Usage Policy will now be enforced, and therefore Excessive Users of the service will be restricted to 1 hour disconnections for a period of 7 days, where if their usage drops to acceptable levels, their accounts will be fully reinstated with no cut-offs or restrictions. A full explanation into our Usage Policy can be viewed on our news page at http://www.activeware.co.uk/news/current.aspx.

Further, our Itemised Billing system is now available for customers on such services.

Oh, and look out for our brand-new totally redesigned website launching soon too!
