UK ISP MetroNet has extended the success of its 512Kbps pay-as-you-go (PAYG) broadband ADSL service by upgrading it to work with a faster 1Mbps offering:
MetroNet's Pay-as-you-go Broadband goes from strength to speed
Following on from our lead as the only Broadband provider to offer a uniquely flexible Broadband service where customers pay less if they use the service less we have has extended this to our new faster 1Mbps Broadband package aimed at home users.
Like all our other pay-as-you-go Broadband packages the new PAYGo1000 package again offer the same great benefits with the safety net of a price cap. The minimum cost of a PAYGo1000 account is £27 inc vat per month and the max cost £35 inc vat per month. So the actual monthly fee our customers would pay would be anywhere in-between depending on their usage, charged at 0.25p per MB.
"Like everything else once you get the taste of Broadband you always want more, and our customers are no different. Our entry level £10 a month Broadband package has already proved a great success in getting more people who were sitting on the fence to take the leap from a standard dialup account.
The PAYGo1000 service goes on to satisfy our customers who have developed a craving for more speed, for now at least. But more than that our unique pricing structure opens up the faster service in terms of affordability for even light users of Broadband. After all speed is what Broadband is all about." Paresh Morjaria, General Manager, MetroNet.
