I was with Titan from July 2008 until May of this year (2010). This time included Titan reselling me services from Entanet, Obit, and finally Vispa. What started out as a great service with Entanet declined with issues such as throttling and lower speeds. I agreed to stay with them as I naturally like to give people a chance.
To cut an extremely long story short, the service was never the same again, with long periods of downtime an debilitating speeds, particularly after the switch to Obit, and again around the switch time to Vispa. I agreed to be one of the first customers on the new service, but that ended up in a fiasco with little to no internet for over a month.
The worst thing about this company isn't that the service is patchy - rather it is when things go wrong they don't answer the phones. First it was at the time of problems with Entanet that they said there was a BT fault that lasted several weeks. More recently I have been unable to raise them on the phone over the last nine months, with well over a hundred attempts at different times of the working day. The message has changed from one about a fault to saying that they are busy, and it has no opportunity for call queuing.

I use Surfanytime for both my office and home office and have been consistently impressed with the level of service.

As I run a PR agency and regularly need to respond to urgent enquiries from journalists, it is vital that I have a reliable ISP.

On the rare occasions that I have a problem with my internet access or incoming email (I have problems much more frequently with my outgoing email, for which I use 123-reg), I have always been able to get hold of someone quickly at Surfanytime (whether by phone or by logging a helpdesk ticket).

Unlike other ISPs, if you fully describe the problem you are having, they don't waste lots of time getting you to reboot and do tests on your router, but will straight away look into it.

I have been so pleased with the service that Surfanytime provides that I have recently moved my phone lines to them also, after repeated frustrations with BT.

The speed of internet access is great, particularly in the office where I have ADSL2.

Overall, I think Surfanytime offers good value for money - you might be able to find a cheaper provider, but I think you'd get less reliable internet access and much poorer customer service.

Have been with Titan for one month after dreadful experiences with Pipex. They have proved excellent - a very pleasant experience after Pipex. Switchover was smooth and completed by first thing on the morning of the day quoted, the speed is nearly four times what I was getting from Pipex and the price is £6 per month cheaper! I'd recommend Titan any time.

Demon internet has let our business down too many times. Titan has worked all the kinks out on our line and now are running at full speed. Leave the big guns. Even better on 21cn.

I left AOL and I joined Titan ADSL. Ok, got connected, but speed really bad, 1.7MGB/s from 13 promised. Called them and they told me to take off the socket from the wall and do something (cannot remember what) as there is noise on the line!!!!! My speed was always 8 – 10 MBG/s with AOL so I didn’t do anything since I joined Titan, same router, same computer. I told the guy over the phone that this is a really goo joke and I love it but can I have some internet speed please? He kept saying that this is the problem and I need to do something with my noise on the line. Also, technical support is a nightmare as if there is something wrong with your line or anything elses (your bill, etc) they send you to the main provider. I asked for MAC code and left. Joined SKY and the sped improved instantly to 8 -10 MGB/s. I do not recommend Titan or any other small providers as they are only resellers, if there are any troubles they tell you to contact someone else which you did not sigh any contract with. NOT recommended, stay away!

I have rated the price as great value and I know some people may think "what???".

It's simples - you get what you pay for and if you want to pay peanuts for your service don't be surprised if it's run by monkeys.

Cheap company and with the free migration, you really cannot not go wrong. What I like is their support which is open and all issues clearly reported as well as the number of tickets.
An ISP should have three important attributes in my opinion. 1. Good support 2. Quality line 3. Excellent customer services
Surfanytime have good support, the line was good and so was the customer services.
I left because I found the line not to be quite stable as I would have liked.
They are however good value for money, give you a free static ip, don’t block ports, unlimited downloads, free webspace, free webmail and free migration all for £19.99 is truly good value.
My only disappointed was that they did not like being criticised and then again, who does?
Services- 9. I would have given them 10 but I read somewhere that it is not allowed.
Support- 9 well organised support and honest with any open tickets and issues. I would have given them 10 but again, against rules.
Speed- 7 because for me the line was not as stable as I would have liked and running a business requires a steady connection.
Value- 9 Truly value for money
Would I recommend? Yes, they are value for money and you can leave if you are unhappy as you are not tied to a contract.

Have been using their phone and broadband service for a few months now. Saving approx £15 a month on my previous bills from BT and getting good speeds.

No problems with service and support is good.
