I've only been with iDNet for a week but I've already had a really positive experience with them. From the get-go, their team was incredibly helpful. On the day of installation, there was an issue with cityfibre missing their appointment but iDNet stepped right in and smoothed things over.

Their customer service is second to none - quick to respond, thorough in their support, and always happy to follow up. When I had queries about my hardware post-installation, I received prompt and effective assistance via email.

In terms of cost, iDNet may be average in price, but the level of customer service I've received is far beyond what I would normally expect. It's worth every penny.

The support staff are approachable and can be reached via email or phone.

So far, I am thrilled with the service and support I have received from iDNet and would highly recommend them. They have certainly lived up to their reputation for unbeatable customer service.

With regards to the speed, it is excellent, not seen internet as fast as this ever!

I'll be sure to update this review as my experience with iDNet evolves!

I've been using IDNet for over 5 years, having several lines with them and they continue to be fantastic. The speeds they advertise are what you get, and most importantly at all, in the extremely rare occasion you do have any issues, their support is amazing - just an email or phone call to a human who can help you immediately, not some automated system

Recently migrated from Zen Internet to IDNet.So far everything is working as expected and speeds are consistent. Currently recieving 930Mbps DL and 109Mbps UL. I am currently using my Unifi UDM-Pro. I did Receive a preconfigured router from IDNet a day before activation, but unfortunately I had to factory reset the router as i was unable to gain access to the admin panel to make any adjustments or changes to the settings with WiFi such as enabling WPA2/WPA3, enabling DNS over TLS with Cloudflared and port forwarding. I did check the sticker under the router and in the enclosed packaging but no username or password was specified.

But all in all very happy with the premium service.

Very smooth install from partner Full Fibre, and great comms from iDNET to queries both pre-install and post-install. Very swift to respond.

Getting pretty much the advertised speed - 480Mbps over Wi-Fi close to the router (using my own TP-Link Deco).

Only disappointing factor is that a neighbour who signed up five weeks before me was provided with a free Asus RT-AX53U (and is paying the same per month) but I didn’t get one. They’re now providing free routers again, but contract length and price has increased.

I had full fibre through IDNET installed Friday 5th of May via Fibre Heroes and, whilst I can appreciate that there's been a bank holiday in between, I'm sat here now on the 11th with my previous ISP disconnecting their service. The FH installer said that they simply needed to patch in the other end of the fibre and it would likely take a day. I have no idea, and more importantly neither do IDNET, as to when I'll be receiving my service from them. And yet on their portal everything is classed as "LIVE".

Honestly, I went with these guys based on the reviews both here and on TrustPilot, I can only assume there's been a bit of massaging going on! Should have waited for Openreach.

Response From iDNET - 14th Jun, 2023

We are saddened to receive such a poor review and sorry you were not satisfied with your experience of IDNet.

Your service was delayed due a Supplier Network issue which needed cabling re-patching followed by a further issue with the serving FDP. Regrettably, we were completely let down by the Supplier with little to no communication throughout, regardless of our continued chasing and escalations.

Heather on our Support Team took over your case and pulled out all the stops to hold them to task and keep the pressure up while providing you with timely updates.

We offered updates as soon as we had them ensuring we were honest and forthcoming with any information, or lack of it, available. A complaint was logged at the highest level supplier side due to the lack of communication and steps have been put in place to improve their case handling going forward.

As a result, we understand that you felt that the information we had for you was lacking at times but I'm sure you can agree that IDNet staff did everything possible to keep you updated and keep fighting your case for you.

I can assure you our reviews are a result of independent Customer experience and no 'massaging' has been going on. All at IDNet work exceptionally hard to deliver second to none Customer Service experience and continue to maintain our reputation for honesty and integrity.

Sincerely,

IDNet

We upgraded to FTTP recently, and the entire process went very smoothly from start to finish. Signing up was easy and we received all the necessary information and updates along the way. Getting through on the phone when we needed to speak to someone about a small query was easy and the person at the other end was friendly.
We've not been with them for long, but so far we're very happy with the service we've received from IDNet.

Just got set up today, went really smoothly and dead quick. I had a question and rang the helpline number & someone answered quickly and gave me what I needed immediately. Unlike going around in circles for hours with talk talk. Miles better experience.

Oh, and it runs at the speed advertised, and the signal strength in the house is a lot better too.

Very happy so far, albeit only day 1!!

An outstanding ISP, especially for our demanding needs. I have used them from VDSL to G.fast to FTTP and they make everything as painless as possible. Customer service is direct, quick, based here in the UK, with... (drum-roll please) an empowered support staff that can sort anything from billing, refunds, account changes, upgrades and chasing Openreach without any further 'escalation' or redirection. It is a model of what customers want rather than what companies are usually comfortable with. When companies trust their staff the trust trickles-down to their customers. They are not the cheapest but provide a free IPv4 static address and a massive IPv6 block. You know exactly where the extra 'premium' goes to - investments in staff, quality and customer service.
