Like the two earlier posters I have been checking out this site to find an alternative ISP having been with PlusNet for over 3 years.

Customer service today is not what it was, on two recent occasions I would actually call them abusive.

 Speeds used to be good but are now sluggish and a recent problem all but terminated by access for about 5 days with sub 100k speeds making it very hard to use the automated tests that are required to report a fault. (And this for an Option4 29.99 service so not peanuts)

That particular fault was one of theirs and they never bothered to respond to the initial queries. And they still haven't fixed it properly speeds still being well down (but 2Mb compared to 2k at one point - as reported by the BT Speedchecker - is bliss. There are alternatives out there at lower cost for the equivalent service.
