I've just moved house. I've been a very satisfied customer of A&A for twelve years, and wanted their wires-only Home::1 at the new address. The whole process couldn't have been easier. A quick friendly chat with Sales a few weeks in advance and it was all arranged. I was kept constantly informed of progress, both by SMS and by comprehensive logs on my control pages. Three days after moving the Openreach engineer arrived at the appointed time, did his thing to transfer the line to the fibre, plugged in my kit from the previous house, and it all just worked.
The whole process was made much less traumatic than it could have been as I never lost internet service between moving and the new installation, as I use A&A's Sip2sim service in my mobile phone. I just tethered to that, and the extra cost was less than a pint of beer a day for quite extensive use. I thoroughly recommend Sip2sim. It works worldwide as a mobile, with a geographical number if you wish - I use an 020 London number. Voicemail is sent via email as a stereo MP3 file - very useful if you're out of the country.
