Bought 40mb fibre optic connection 1 month ago. First 36hrs running at 35mb, excellent was only qoted 32mb by sales however since then and upto now speed dropped to 25mb and lower due to traffic, rang support and answer is nothing wrong item bought was up to 40mb. What they didnt tell me is that either bt or plusnet themselves have my line configured to only allow 25985kbps. so my grouch is that plusnet could be misleading some customers about available speed and in my instance 40mb is unobtainable, consumer protection agree

must add rang bt for info on buying their eqivalent,identical speed wise and they quote speed of 37mb for my line through them
