UNBELIEVABLE, I had Plusnet for years and switched to business plusnet a few years ago. around October they started warning me their business service is ending and I need to migrate away, I was given a termination date of May 3rd 2024, so I did move away. when I log into my account it tells me my FINAL bill is April. on May 3rd my service terminated I cancelled my direct debit on 5th. Today I get a txt from them saying they havent been able to take a payment and asked me to login and pay a bill. I called them to tell them that they have already cancelled my service and my final bill was April and that I would not be paying for something I am not getting. The guy I spoke then said but they havent received a cancellation notice off me. I replied why would I send a cancellation notice when you have been telling me for months that you are terminating my service. He then said there is still a line charge to pay for and now that I have told them I have moved away he would cancel it but I would still have to pay the bill. I refused again to pay for something they terminated and have given me a Final bill in April. He then said if I dont pay in 14 days they will pass it to debt collectors. They can do that as far as im concerned, I will rather pay a solicitor to fight it for me than pay for a service they terminated and that I am not receiving, unbelievable attitude from them.
