I have found that PlusNet don't want you to actually use the bandwidth they advertise. IMO a very bad example of customer relations, i.e. severe download restrictions imposed without warning.
Yes, they are cheaper than some other ISPs. However do you really want to be usage restricted? You may as well have dial-up.
They should come clean and admit their services are heavily capped nowadays. If you are a customer or thinking of being a customer, don't be at all surprised if you get a nasty email greeting one day telling you that you are being 'managed' indefinitely. Used to be very good, not anymore - look elsewhere for much better deals.
