I joined Plusnet in 2004 after Freenetname oversubscribed. Plusnet appears to have just reached the same point - oversubscription and insufficient infrastructure.
Up to 8Mb is down to dial-up speeds, due to the worst latency I\'ve ever experienced. P2P is a tortoise. FTP is a joke AND fouls up file transfer. HTTP is abysmal and although it\'s improved in the past week, Email is still erratic. Staff are rigid in outlook and unwilling to fully cooperate.
I was thrown off their Forum for swearing - the word I used was \"crap\". Now I ask you in this day and age, and the staff refuse to negotiate. They\'re right and I, the customer, am wrong. AVOID
