Transferred to TalkTalk as part of the Talk3 plan (telephone & Broadband) from Virgin broadband/BT telco. Did wait for about 5 weeks for the broadband, but was eventually sent a letter telling me the actual activation date. Set-up with no problems and using the supplied ADSL2 modem, am getting 4.5 Mbs/sec on average.

Prior to activation I emailed with a broadband query, but never got a reply, so this area lets them down. Also having provided MAC code, was then sent a letter a week or so later, asking for it! Emailed to check if they had actually recorded it first time, but no reply. But at least I am connected. Am I just very lucky?!
