Review for my mother's Toob internet connection in Southampton. She's had it 9 months now and it's been rock solid. Only two very brief outages since install. Compared to her previous Talktalk 10mbit "exchange only" ADSL connection, it is night & day!

Install was painless. They turned up when they said they would, used a cherry-picker transit van at the distribution pole then a ladder at the house. They routed the cable where we wanted it to go, cable tack gun along to the ONT (Adtran SDX621i).

It's pretty sweet price wise too @ £25/month. Using the static IP option (£8 extra/month) as I run remote services at her place for remote support. Whilst their Sagemcom router is basic, it delivers reasonable 2.4GHz WiFi coverage (5GHz is quite short) and Ethernet gives full 950mbit symmetrical speeds. Dual stack IP4/IP6. Latency is always low. Thinkbroadband monitor is set up and it's usually sat between 5-8ms even under load. Traceroute of various destination addresses show they are using NTT for some backhaul links.

Apparently it is easy to use 3rd party router if desired but if there is an issue, they'll want you to reconnect the Sagemcom for diagnostics.

Customer services have always been helpful when calling them. They honor the "refer a friend" scheme with £25 Amazon vouchers for both referrer and new customer. Cant wait for them to reach my part of Southampton!
