Tesco's mobile phone store -
Tesco contract mobiles - has today begun offering free Laptops and Netbooks as part of its new '
build your own' Mobile Broadband offer. The deal allows people to choose from over 30 Laptops or Netbooks coupled with Mobile Broadband packages from a selection of the leading networks.
Prices start at around £24.47 per month for a Lenovo S9 Atom N270 Netbook (80GB HD, 1GB RAM, 8.9" LCD Screen, Microsoft XP Home, Webcam, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi) when coupled with a 24-month Three (3) Mobile Broadband package that includes 15GB (GigaByte's) of monthly data usage and 100 texts.
Lance Batchelor, Chief Executive Officer of Tesco Mobile and Tesco Telecoms, commented:
"We’re delighted to be able to offer our customers free laptops and netbooks for the very first time. We believe that mobile broadband is going to really take off in 2009 and we want to help our customers get the very best deals, making it easier than ever for them to stay connected wherever they are."
Not all the Laptop/Netbook bundles are free and some charge extra for the computer, so pay attention to that if you're in the market for a bundle.
