I-NAP, a UK business broadband and connectivity provider, has called a meeting of creditors under '
Section 98' of the '
Insolvency Act 1986', which will take place on 16th July 2009. The provider, which some rumours suggest could have been in debt over Telehouse hosting fees to another ISP - Star Europe, is holding the meeting to determine the ISP's financial position and possibly the appointment of a liquidator.
Liquidation usually refers to the legal process by which a company (or part of a company) is brought to an end, and the assets and property of the company redistributed. Taking a quick glance at the I-NAP website this morning only shows the following generic notice about an update.
The notice of possible liquidation was issued by I-NAP's Director, Gordon Fielden, and has also been received by some now deeply disgruntled customers. The full letter was published last Friday and can be viewed
