UK Wireless ISP Kijoma Broadband Significantly Extends Coverage

Posted: 29th Oct, 2009 By: MarkJ
kijomaBroadband wireless ( Wi-Fi ) ISP Kijoma has significantly extended its coverage to Portsmouth East/West, covering part of West Sussex, Portsmouth/Gosport, the south of the Isle of Wight and Fareham. More importantly it is a next generation network that will allow them to offer speeds of 30Mbps+ including symmetrical upload/downloads with very low latency.

It's understood that some areas may even receive speeds of up to 50Mbps, with upload performance rising to 20Mbps or more. This network is live but under test and as part of this Kijoma will be looking for a select few homes/businesses within the next few weeks with differing requirements spread around the area to trial the service and provide them with feedback.

Those interested should click the "contact us" link on Kijoma's website to register their interest. Please click the link below the map for a key that explains the different coverage colour bands.
