ISP Orange UK (Everything Everywhere) will today completely refresh its range of fixed line Home Broadband and Phone deals. The current raft of four packages will be replaced by three and form part of Orange's attempt to improve their network image and customer service perception.
Orange is continuing to offer
3 MONTHS FREE BROADBAND alongside its new deals, which couple to a FREE connection. As before, each package will also come with "
unlimited downloads" and are cheaper for existing Orange Mobile customers.

In addition two of the packages will also include an option for international calls to 30 countries, costing £4 extra a month. It should also be noted that "
Orange customers in network areas" refers to those covered by the operators cheaper unbundled ( LLU ) network, which is perhaps ironically now controlled by BT (
original news).
At the time of writing we could not check Orange's new Fair Usage Policy (FUP) against their "
unlimited" claim (packages not live yet), which some had previously accused of being too strict and vague. However Orange has said that any unhappy customers within the first month of service will be able to leave (end your contract) without penalty. Customer support calls are apparently also free.
UPDATE 10:05amThe package also includes a FREE Wireless 'n' Router/Modem. Sadly Orange's FUP appears to remain largely unchanged, although it's hard to check since there appears to be a mountain of T&C's.
