The popular broadband ISP Zen Internet has been awarded an
ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance certification, which officially recognises the provider as having high quality products and strong customer satisfaction.
Zen's Head of Product Management and Marketing, Andrew Saunders, said:
"As part of the certification process, we have had to challenge our approach to everything we do and I believe we have emerged as a far more flexible and agile business. This will lead to a far better experience for our customers – the ultimate goal of the certification process.
"Zen Internet is always looking to improve how we run our business to ensure we are meeting our mission ‘to provide the best ISP service in the UK’. This certification builds on us achieving ISO 14001:2004 in September 2009 for our environmental management system."
The ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization..
* needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and;
* aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Achieving such an ISO certification isn't easy and we're pleased to see another ISP pursue and succeed where others have failed.
