The i3 Group's controversial Fibrecity project, which seeks to deploy superfast 100Mbps fibre optic ( FTTH ) broadband services in several cities around the UK, is in trouble again after Bournemouth Council called a meeting to discuss serious concerns over the damage that has been caused by their substandard work.

The UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has allowed Sky Broadband to continue running a regional press advert that criticises BT's use of long contract (2 years) terms on some of its broadband bundles. BT protested but the ASA has subsequently ruled against its complaints.
