Cable giant Virgin Media UK has announced that any new customers taking either one of its dual (broadband and phone) or triple (broadband, tv and phone) play service bundles will now also be able to claim back a one-off discount of either £30 or £60 (respectively) off their first bill.

Crucially the new promotion is in addition to Virgin's existing first six months half price and FREE installation offers. Virgin's cheapest dual play 10Mbps broadband and calls service (unlimited downloads, free router and unlimited weekend calls) currently starts at £6.75 a month for the first six months (+£13.90 for a Virgin Phone Line) and you can now claim back an extra £30 on your first bill.
