Several UK telecoms and Internet Service Providers (ISP) have been listed in this year's
Telegraph 1000, which bills itself as a list of "
Britain's Brightest Businesses" (i.e. the fastest growing companies and partnerships with sales of between £5m and £500m).
The table is based on research work by innovation agency
NESTA and verified by business information specialist
Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). In total it represents companies that stand out and have together
generated over £50 billion in sales. We were pleased to find that quite a few telecoms and internet providers had been listed.

A hearty congratulations goes out to all those firms that managed to make the cut. Some of the providers (e.g. Timico and Entanet UK) have also made it into other tables, such as the
Deloitte Technology 50 and
Times Tech Track 100 (latest 2011 version due soon).
