TalkTalk Business, the business and wholesale division of UK consumer broadband ISP TalkTalk, has gobbled up a rival
ISO9001 accredited and Cheshire-based telecoms operator called
Greystone Telecom for an as yet undisclosed sum.
The MD of TalkTalk-Business, Paul Lawton, said:
"Importantly when it was the right time for the owners to exit, we were able to quickly agree a deal, provide a good home for their customer base and continue to offer support to Greystone’s channel partners. Importantly we will be able to offer a wider choice of services driven from our Next generation Network to both customers and partners alike."
Both TalkTalk and Greystone Telecom are said to have had a "
strong long term relationship" that has so far lasted for more than a decade. The formal acquisition actually occurred earlier this month.
