Internet provider Vispa has announced that it
will not be increasing the cost of UK line rental (telephone) on 6th December 2011, when BT and others plan to hike their prices, and will also continue to maintain its current stance by
not having a call setup fee (BT charges 12.5p per call).
Vispa has also announced the extension of its "
first 3 months half price" offer to new customers until 31st March 2012, which applies to its
Home Saver range of broadband and phone bundle packages.
Home Saver packages include an up to 24Mbps Broadband connection, Telephone Line Rental and 300 minutes of anytime calls to 01, 02, 03, 0845 & 0870 numbers.
Prices start at just £12.99 for a basic package with a 2GB monthly usage allowance and go up to £23.99 for one with a 75GB allowance.
Outside of the inclusive minutes bundle, local & national calls are 4.17ppm and calls to mobiles are 6.7ppm daytime and 5.2ppm during the evening and weekends. Calls to European destinations, such as Spain, are some 19p cheaper than BT at 5ppm. The minimum contract term is 12 months.
