Internet and phone provider TalkTalk UK is once again trying to entice new customers by offering its broadband packages at half price for the next 6 months, which avid readers will note is actually a sharp change from the previous 12 months half-price promotion.

As a result the ISPs TalkTalk Essentials (up to 20Mbps speeds, 40GB usage, unlimited evening/weekend calls) package has been cut from £6.50 to £3.25 per month, while TalkTalk Plus (20Mbps speeds, unlimited usage, unlimited anytime calls) has dropped from £14.50 to £7.25.

Sadly customers do still have to pay £13.80 per month for TalkTalk Line Rental, although this can be slashed to £9.50 per month if you pay 12 months in advance. A FREE Connection is also included. The new promotion is available until 5th January 2012.
