Broadband ISP Trooli, which aims to cover a “minimum” of 1 million premises with their gigabit speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network by the end of 2024, has today announced that they’ve appointed Brian O’Neill to take on the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

UK ISP FibreNest, which is the full fibre (FTTP) broadband network for new build housing sites developed by Persimmon Homes, has announced that they’ve opted to buck this year’s most frustrating industry trend – of major internet provider’s announcing huge price hikes (here) – by freezing their prices for the third year running.

Hull-based UK ISP MS3, which is backed by infrastructure fund Asterion, has selected Nokia to supply the full fibre XGS-PON technology for their rollout of a new 10Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network in the North of England, which aims to cover 500,000 premises. The first build has also begun.

Rural focused UK ISP County Broadband (CB) has today announced that their multi-million-pound rollout of a new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network is being extended to reach “thousands of rural homes and businesses” in North Norfolk (England) – covering a total of 15 villages.
