Mobile operator Three UK will today launch a new “Supercharged” Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) SIM plan with an Unlimited Data Pack, which it claims will give “customers endless data, calls and texts” for just £20 (usually £30). Customers will also be able to control, track and flex their spend via a new Three App.

Mobile operator and ISP Vodafone UK informs us that customers taking one of their FTTC based “superfast home broadband” packages, specifically those who will need a brand new copper line installed, won’t have to pay the usual £60 one-off installation charge if they order before the end of April 2020.

Vodafone UK will today join some of the other major ISPs (e.g. BT) by increasing the minimum contract term of their “superfast” FTTC broadband and phone packages from 18 to 24 months. At the same time they’ll also discount the Superfast 1 (35Mbps) package to be priced the same as Superfast 2 (63Mbps) from £20.95 a month.

UK ISP Aquiss has launched a new offer for consumers who already have an Openreach based Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband ONT or active line installed in their property, which offers free activation (saving £100) and a large discount on the first 4 months of service (starting from £5 a month) if you migrate to them.

Mobile operator Vodafone UK has cut the price of their 4G and 5G focused SIM-Only “unlimited data” (mobile broadband) plans in half, albeit only when you take one of them on a lengthy 24 month contract term. The catch is that this discount only lasts for the first 6 months of service.

Sky’s sibling ISP and TV streaming service, NOW TV (NOW Broadband), has slashed the monthly price of their Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC / VDSL2) based “Fab Fibre” (36Mbps) and “Super Fibre” (63Mbps) broadband packages with inclusive anytime UK calls to £22 and £28 per month respectively. No setup fee.

UK ISP Sky Broadband (Comcast) has today discounted the price of their “Superfast Fibre” (FTTC at average download speeds of 59Mbps) package by -£2 to make it £25 per month for the first 18 months of service (£32 thereafter). On top of that they’ve also removed the setup fee (usually between £9.95 to £19.95).

Cable TV and broadband ISP Virgin Media has quietly boosted their existing range of service discounts by temporarily removing the £35 one-off set up fee from all fixed line packages with a 12 month contract term, which affects everything from standalone broadband to broadband + phone and triple play bundles with TV etc.

Mobile operator and ISP Vodafone UK appears to have cut the price of their top two Gigafast Broadband products (500Mbps and 900Mbps) by £8 per month, which is what they offer in urban areas covered by Cityfibre’s on-going Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) network build.

UK ISP BT has today slashed the price of their 67Mbps (average speed) “Superfast 2” broadband (FTTC / FTTP) and phone bundle, which is now being offered for £29.99 per month (plus £10 upfront) for the first 24 month contract term (£37.99 thereafter). On top of that they’re offering an £80 Reward Card (pre-paid Mastercard).

Energy provider and UK ISP Shell Energy has kicked off February 2020 by discounting their range of home broadband and phone packages for new subscribers, which appear to drop the prices lower than last year’s Black Friday event. On top of that they’ve added some Amazon shopping vouchers.

Free activation (saving £100) is also included.

The one-off setup fee is also now free.

The UK broadband ISP division of John Lewis has kicked off the New Year by returning their discounts to Black Friday levels and added in some e-Gift cards, which are worth between £40 and £75 depending upon the package. Apparently these new deals will run until 28th January 2020.

Shropshire-based UK ISP Aquiss has launch a new January sale, which discounts their Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC / VDSL2) based superfast home broadband packages to half price for the first 6 months of service, although this excludes line rental (i.e. you’ll still need to buy phone line rental from elsewhere).

City focused FTTP/B broadband ISP Hyperoptic, which claims to cover well over 400,000 UK premises, has today launched some big Black Friday beating discounts as part of their Christmas and New Year sale event. This is expected to run until 31st January 2020 and sees prices (50Mbps) start at just £16.80 per month.
