Microsoft Prepares Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 Release

Microsoft has revealed that the first 'beta' release of its next Internet Explorer 8 website browser will surface sometime during the first half of 2008. In addition the browser has managed to pass several key web standards tests, including the tedious Acid2:
