Cable-Forum reports that NTL is to make its 1Mbps and 2Mbps broadband packages unlimited from January 2006, thus removing one of the longest standing caps (30GB per month) in the market.
The timing would appear to be a little strange, not least because the cap on faster services is to remain. Removing it from slower options may cause fewer people to contemplate an upgrade (e.g. 10Mbps [75GB cap]).
Otherwise it would appear to be good news =).
