We've just uploaded a new poll, which asks: "
Has your ISP's support quality improved over the past year?". We had hoped to get our new survey system in place before uploading another, but it's taking longer than expected to get it doing what we want. Results from the previous one can be found below:
Does your ISP make its data/bandwidth usage restrictions clear enough?
No - 52%
Yes - 42.2%
What? - 5.6%
Total Votes = 720
Impressively just under 6% of people didnt know what the question was referring too, suggesting that those passing through ISPr are more clued up than we expected. Elsewhere the gap between people finding their ISPs informative on usage restrictions and those that dont is almost split down the middle, yet the Nos have it by a lead of 10%.
Clearly this isnt acceptable and far too many providers are not doing enough to community their restrictions. Pointing to vague Fair Usage policies or brief lines in a T&C simply doesnt cut it. Sadly this allows providers the ability to continue an illusion of offering more than they actually do, something many feel to be misleading.
