UPDATE:BT has now fixed the problem, although a backlog of orders remain. Thousands of 512Kbps ADSL users trying to upgrade their broadband lines to 1Mbps are complaining of connection difficulties following a system failure at BT.
Details are thin on the ground, although the problem will compound existing delays being caused by an influx of new orders (following extended reach ADSL launch).
Several people have reported being without a connection for more than two days!
