The
Broadband Checker service, a combined ADSL, cable and satellite broadband availability tool that avoids the clutter of some other services, has updated with the new extended reach ADSL settings:
Broadband Checker - a combined ADSL, cable and satellite broadband availability tool - avoids the time required to assess each service individually. The user simply enters their postcode and home phone number and the checker returns the available options, with comprehensive service and price information. The checker also shows the maximum download speed of the user's phone line.
Users can sign up for updates: when a new broadband service or special offer becomes available in their area, they'll be the first to know.
Chris White, managing director of Networking Links Ltd, comments: "With broadband availability set to match analogue TV coverage by summer 2005, comparing the options that reach your premises is increasingly important. In a constantly changing market, failing to keep abreast of what's available can hit you where it hurts most - in the wallet."
