ISP Glow (e-Tel / Evesham) Hikes Price

Posted: 27th May, 2003 By: MarkJ
The ISP wing of Glow (e-Telecom / Evesham) has, with effect from 9th June, increased the price of its 24/7 unmetered dialup service from £9.99 to £11.99 per month. According to the update, the hike is to help pay for service upgrades:

In line with our continued commitment to excellence we are upgrading your Internet connection to both enhance the quality and improve access to the service. We are delighted to inform you that in the near future you will notice a significant improvement in the service.

Following these changes the monthly subscription for the service will be increasing from £9.99 to £11.99 a month, with effect from 9th June 2003. The price increase is under 50p a week and maintains our excellent price advantage. You will continue to make savings of up to £48 a year on your etelecom Internet connection as compared to our main competitors! *

Great news! You can save £12 if you opt to make two payments of £65.94 per year, equivalent to a monthly subscription of only £10.99 a month.

Interestingly several forum members have reported an improved service with fewer, if any, connection problems.
