Bulldogs New GX Network's SDSL Deal

Posted: 07th Apr, 2003 By: MarkJ
Bulldog Communications has inked a new broadband SDSL (Symmetrical DSL – Same speed both ways) partnership deal with GX Network's:

GX Network's Partnership with Bulldog

GX Networks, the independent UK network operator, has partnered with broadband services provider, Bulldog Communications to deliver leading edge SDSL (Symmetrical Digital Subscriber Line) services to thousands of London based businesses.

GX Networks, who independently owns and manages one of the most extensive, secure and resilient national networks, launched its SDSL service in April 2002. By teaming up with Bulldog's extensive broadband network of 35 PoPs (Points of Presence) in Central London, GX Networks can now dramatically expand its SDSL service to regional and London-based business customers.

SDSL is an independent broadband alternative to leased lines that provides exceptional service quality without the associated high costs. By enabling the same data transmission speeds both to and from the customer, SDSL is ideal for businesses needing to transmit and download large files fast and reliably.

"The synergy between Bulldog and GX Networks ensures that a greater number of London based businesses will now benefit from high-speed Broadband Internet technology," explains Grahame Purvis, CEO and Chairman of GX Networks.

"By using next generation technology, such as SDSL, we are providing businesses with a combination of speed, reliability, flexibility and cost effectiveness. Combining the resources of our existing London data centre with Bulldog's broadband network coverage within London, GX Networks is committed to be a major driving force behind the adoption of broadband technology across Britain."

Richard Greco, CEO of Bulldog Communications, stated, "We're excited about working with GX Networks. Our business aim is to give GX Networks leading-edge specialist technology and expertise at competitive prices and to enable it to deliver an affordable, enriching high-quality broadband experience for its customers." Greco continues, "Deploying the latest and most advanced DSL technology, Bulldog offers its partners the most extensive selection of SDSL and ADSL products and services commercially available in the market today."

A dynamic, leading-edge provider of competitive high performance, affordable voice, data, Internet and E-commerce connectivity solutions, GX Networks is committed to next generation technological advances.
