The UK broadband satellite ISP Aphelion, which was formerly known as Isonetric, has today announced a new one-way 'SkyDigital' friendly £24.99 per month broadband satellite Internet access service:
Aphelion UK LTD are proud to announce the release of their new product the Sky Surfer. This innovative development will allow customers to have high speed internet access with a minor adjustment to their existing Sky dish. For customers without a dish, Aphelion are able to supply both the dish and adaptor necessary, although this will not automatically provide a TV service.
Director of Aphelion UK Ltd Joe Anderson said This is an exciting new development in the field of satellite services. We can now provide broadband to areas without cabling or exchange upgrades, using existing sky mini dishes. There are approximately 7 million sky subscribers in the UK who can now utilise this new technology
Aphelion have also recently entered into an agreement with the German government to provide broadband access in rural areas and it seems with the help of the new Sky Surfer, broadband can be supplied to any household or business, nationally and internationally. With download speeds of up to 2Mbps it seems the traditional broadband suppliers had better watch their backs!http://www.satellite-adsl.co.uk
