Yet another survey, this time by YouGov for Ask Jeeves, has found that online shopping is growing in popularity. The research revealed that 85% of men said they enjoyed online shopping, with 88% of women agreeing:
Both men and women said they preferred shopping online because it's easier to search for gifts than in the shops. Meanwhile 71% of men who liked shopping online said it let them avoid crowded shops and 64% said it gave them more time to choose.
Ask Jeeves' research also reveals that 57% of British men think that there is more time choice of products online than in shops, while 57% prefer to shop online because it is perceived to be faster.Books came out as the most researched Christmas gift, although thankfully socks and tank-tops were nowhere to be seen =).
