My connection was also stable and fast. I also think they use traffic shaping although they claim not to and this is only my opinion. Then my emails would take longer to respond to (my last one they didn’t even bother to respond). In the end, the premium price didn’t justify what I was getting since great service is what your paying for.
I am not happy with support to be honest and I find them to be quite expensive.
The line is good and they have a lot of services if you can afford them.
I would recommend them and I guess if you can afford them you may as well go with Xilo.
What I like about their connection is that it is stable and the line quite good to be honest.
Services- 9 They have a lot of services for those who can afford them and the control panel is amazing to look at.
Support- 4 I was not happy with this because I found out they do not use tickets but a general email address causing confusion and a lot of problems. I also did not find them to be well, open regarding issues.
Speed- 8 Great line and steady
Value - 2 I was paying £25 and with a Dynamic IP address and the support I was receiving, I felt I was paying to much but hey, this is just my opinion.
I would recommend them and it may be worth your time if you check out Xilo for improved support. Up to you.

I recently asked ICUK to sign us up to their Option 5 £25 per month service, and I'm getting 13Mb down and 1Mb up.

At times, the line drops for a few seconds, and then returns immediately afterwards, but this was the case with our previous providers, so it's probably the line rather than the provider.

I signed up to ICUK following the positive reviews here, and I haven't been disapointed. I have spoken to Mark, Niall and I think Paul on their support desk and all have been helpful setting up my email and Netgear router, pointing out that a firmware upgrade would improve performance and general help and advice on the service.

I noticed webafella's review has changed about three or four times here, and he's reviewed other providers, too. I have to say his current rant is not my experience, so I suspect he/she is a bit of a loony.

I have sinced signed up a neighbour and ICUK seem to be heading them in the right direction.

I came accross ICUK from this website after searching for a possible new provider after moving house.

Having previously been with BT for many many years, i found BT to be totally useless when it came to moving my services over to the new property. This included wanting to charge me £130 to install a new line when i clearly did not need one, there being a perfectly decent line in the house.

I contacted ICUK who confirmed the line was fine, and could be activated in 1 day for a mere £30. They reactivated the line, setup our landline for normal calls and then set about providing me with broadband services.

Throughout the whole process they were just excellent. Made everything so easy, where BT were causing me massive headaches. Emails to ICUK were answered within 30 minutes, phone calls instantly and actually speaking to someone who clearly knew what was going on was just something i have not exeprienced in this industry. ICUK is easily the best company i have ever dealt with, fullstop.

Literally this morning they ordered ADSL on my line, it was active within 2 hours. Just brilliant. I cannot recommend these guys enough, if your looking for a quality connection, great service, and really a very reasonable price, look no further.

I went for option 5, and really its got to be the best deal on broadband in the UK at the moment when you factor in the service. £25 a month for unlimited broadband, up to 16Mb/s download, 1.3Mb/s upload and just the best service you can imagine.

Once again, highly recommended.

After poor speed and performance for the first week during the training period, speeds have increased to 4.5MB on my up to 8MB line and are now steady at all times of the day. As I live at the furthest reaches of my BT exchange, this is the best speed I can get, and better than most other ISPs have given me.

Am still experiencing occasional browsing lag, but Support have been very helpful in sorting out problems.

A good ISP if you can stay within 20GB a month peak usage on the standard package.

ICUK is far too good to be true and excellent support which it email me quickly and solved my adsl slow speed to amazing fastest speed at 7Mbps! They are very prrofessional and they know all about adsl technology things and will help you to ensure you get a best service out there for you. I am now glad to left virgin media and stick with this isp ICUK (never had any downtime since march 3rd) I rated them 10 out of 10. Join ICUK if I were you and what more, good prices for 100Gb off peaks!

It is so rare in this day and age and especially in the communications sector(having been a customer with 4 other isps that were all shocking regarding customer service) to find a company that still prides itself on 1st class customer service with staff who are fully trained and know what they are talking about. in the short time I have been a customer I have been so pleased with the way I have been treated from the transition of migrating over to fast accurate problem solving.

I use ICUK at home and at work and have both a regular broadband connection and a higher spec business connection respectively.

I've had both for nearly two years and I'm very pleased with the service they've offered, especially in guiding through the necessary settings for my equipment and providing me advice on effecient usage, security and firewall levels.

Ideal for my data sensitive business and especially ideal for keeping the family safe at home.

None of that was remotely available with my previous supplier.

Highly recommend.

Joined ICUK in Feb 2007 after moving to a village where BT will not offer broadband at all and after a living mightmare with Tiscali in last home. ICUK charged for connection and could only provide 512K. The speed may be low but is consistent. Service support for help & advice is simply excellent. No billing problems so far. I have a completely unlimited download contract but I note that the advertised offers seem to have changed recently and unlimited has more or less vanished. I\'m happy to recommend ICUK. Quite amazing compared to the stress of trying to use Tiscali.
UPDATE Oct 2008,
I have since moved home and stayed with ICUK. Now have the up to 8Meg service with 5GB/month at £17.50. Speed is great usually around 6Mbps. Service remains first class. I had a speed problem one Saturday afternoon and emailed for help. The reply came in minutes and after exchanging a few messages the problem was resolved.
I don't care what anyone else charges, what I've got is something that works and people ready and willing to support me if I need help.
Simply brilliant!

I have to pay my compliments to this site for finding me this ISP, and secondly to the team at icuk who have been wonderful. They have been helpful and knowledgeable every time I have called pre and post purchase which isn't something I have experienced before. Previously I have had helpful sales people who just can't be contacted when you need support, so you are stuck in a queue to a foreign land.

Not the cheapest provider, but given the long list of cheap providers I have had before I'm certainly getting what I pay for as for this reason I'm giving them top marks throughout. I see no reason for me moving for some time!!!!!!

I joined ICUK because of the quality service they provided. And they lived up to that at the beginning. Migration only took 2 mins. Whenever I emailed tech support I received an email within 5 mins. My connection was also stable and fast. But then they introduced download caps and traffic shaping (this is just my opinion even though they claim to not use traffic shaping). Then my emails would take longer to respond to (my last one they didnt even bother to respond). In the end, the premium price didnt justify what I was getting since great service is what your paying for. Since that had deteriorated there seemed no point hangin around.
