The underlying service is basically sound; speeds are (just) within advertised limits, and it's fairly reliable.

Service is pretty appalling; very hard to actually talk to anyone, and a painfully clunky website.

The worst is the ridiculously obscure and abusive pricing - the baked in annual rises, the need to do a stupid little renewal dance to avoid suddenly paying £20 a month more, just to lock you in for another year. Charging for 'extras' that should be bundled.

Yes, a lot of this is common in the 'big' providers, but that doesn't make it any more acceptable.

Been a customer for years, originally ADSL and later on FTTC. Having *finally* got FTTP rolling out in our area, I was able to regrade our package.

The order process was painless; received excellent support keeping me informed throughout (OpenReach wasn't as "ready" as they thought they were) and on the day of switchover I must have been offline for all of 5 minutes.

Speed and reliability have improved, and it's even a little cheaper. Cannot recommend highly enough.
