Have been with A&A for about 7 years and they are a joy compared to earlier experiences of BT and PlusNet. We are on a rolling monthly contract as opposed to so many 24 month contract ‘deals’ where, if you are unhappy with the service, you are stuffed. Any issues I’ve ever had, and they are few, were dealt with promptly on the phone – yes they answer the phone and talk to you sensibly!
Became aware that the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) will be switched off in 2025 and everyone will have to move to a ‘digital’ service (or just rely on mobiles). Have now migrated completely to A&A’s VOIP service including porting our existing PSTN number. We purchased the base station and handsets from A&A and they set them up for us before delivery. On switchover day it all worked first time.
Line rental is half of what BT charged and call charges are very low.
As others mention, the combined cost of broadband and telephony is probably higher than many packages offered by BT and others, but the service you get is streets ahead.
