I have been changing my ISP pretty much every year for the last 5 years, trying to find the perfect one for my needs. I'm not a heavy downloader, but like to use the likes of BBC iPlayer and other catch-up TV software in the evenings, as well as youtube and other streaming sites.
I have always been of the belief that the larger, corporate ISP's (like Sky, Virgin, BT) were always the ones to go for, as they could monopolise the market somewhat and offer the best service; but they have all let me down so far, both with their speed and customer service.
I have now been with Xilo for coming up to a month and can't pick a hole anywhere in the service offered so far. My evening’s internet use is spot on in every way. Rarely have I had to sit there and wait for my programme/video to buffer; they just play perfectly. Browsing is flawless. Gaming on the xbox is brilliant. I live in a very rural area, but close to the exchange, which is yet to be unbundled, so I'm running on the older type system (not sure of the technical jargon).
I have not had to use their customer services yet (which is a good thing), so can't comment on that. But so far everything has been perfect.
10/10. I think after years of searching I've found my perfect package.
